Hot Cream

A photo set showing ice cream melting on a tabun oven. The work attempts to merge the two contradicting worlds of the East, represented by the traditional cooking utensil, on one hand, and the West, represented by the light, cool treat, on the other. The photos show the ice cream in various degrees of decomposition until it becomes a substance that seems inedible or even toxic. The unappealing result appears almost obvious due to the opposite traits of these two symbols.
